I’ve been a hairdresser for 19 years, and for 8 of those years I worked in a salon specialising in wigs for women going through treatment.
During that time, I learnt how to fit, cut, style, and care for wigs and hair pieces using trusted professional suppliers that I still use today.
One of the moments that stayed with me most was helping a woman prepare for treatment while surrounded by her mum, laughter, tears, and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate her strength.
That experience reminded me how important it is to create moments of comfort and joy during such a difficult time
I wanted to create a space where women could feel seen, supported, and cared for - and leave feeling a little more like themselves again.
